I love this place so much, I've been meaning to write this for a long long time. I probably spend too much money for my own good here. Other's need to get their daily coffee fix and I need to get my boba fix. There is not one bad thing on the menu I have had. I haven't had everything but quite a bit of different items, but to know that if I was to try something new, I highly doubt it would be disappointing.

Some of the items that I love are and are my "go to's":
    Thai Tea
    Okinawa Milk Tea
    Roasted Oolong Tea
    Jasmine Milk Tea
    Basil Chicken
    Poke Bowl

Their boba is really good, which honestly is quite shocking for Sonoma County (our Asian cuisine here is LACKING big time and is so unauthentic -- I'm half Chinese and my mother has spoiled me with only the best and most authentic cuisine). I have grown up drinking ungodly amounts of boba in different areas at some of the best rated places. While this isn't the fanciest of boba places, it is definitely above it's scale and very affordable. The boba has the perfect texture to it each time, it's consistent which is something so important. It's never too soft or too hard, it has the perfect amount of chew and cooked with the right amount of sweetness. Also you can customize your drink by ice and sweetness, I always do 50% sweet and 30% ice. Do not go to Quickly's, this place will make that place taste disgusting and it's not even comparable.

Their poke bowls are my favorite, you choose what you want and they literally stuff it full with all the delicious goodies. The fish is always fresh, the rice always warm, and it's so fun watching them put it together. I order a small and it's more than enough food. They even will put a side in a mini container if you never tried the item and are not sure if you want to commit to adding it on your poke bowl. I did that when I ordered poke for my husband and I couldn't remember if he liked a few of the different toppings and the employee was like don't worry and packaged them separately.

Their basil chicken is a guilty pleasure (okay I know boba should be too, but I can resist my temptations with the friend chicken and not the boba). The chicken is so crisp and when it is served it is HOT (temperature wise). The flavor and seasoning of the chicken is great and the fried basil leaves are a delicious touch.

The owners (I believe they are the owners/ family friends) are incredible. They are very quick and attentive to any needs. I would come here with friends and I saw one of the employees bring their lunch to the back past me. Inside was chicken feet (YUM!) and I pointed it out that I was jealous of his meal, wishing they served a favorite snack of mine. My friends were grossed out but he was so excited that he wanted to share some with my friends and I. We declined but he insisted he ordered extra and wanted us to have some. So we did and my friends got to try it for the first time. Wasn't necessarily their cup of tea, but it definitely was mine. Also, how sweet of a gesture!

The environment/culture of the place is phenomenal. It brings people together all ages, shapes and sizes, races, whatever. It's a opening and welcoming hang out spot for all and I go in there and not only do I see people look comfortable but I feel comfortable. I think there is a lot of diversity of the different customers and employees and I Iove that. (Boba is so good, this is something we need to share with all!) They have board games that you can play too!

The only downside to this place I must admit to is sometimes it takes a while for the boba drinks to be made even when there are only a few people there. It's usually when the college kids are the ones working. They have gotten my order incorrect a few times as well, but it's no biggie because fortunately as long as it has boba, I am happy. There have also been times where they are out of the big boba pearls and only have small pearls (not the end of the world, but I way prefer the big pearls). My love for their restaurant and boba though overlooks these but wanted to make the future T4 customer aware.

    The poke:
Full disclosure: I go here once a week. The food varries in quality a LOT. Somedays I would rate a 5, but others it is barely edible or questionable quality. I have had everything here from super delicious salmon to octopus that tasted like a slimy fish tank. The nice parts are that if you find a few good ingredients it is a great deal for a build your own sushi bowl. The downside is that you will probably go through a few orders where you pay for an ingriedient and end up picking them all out.

The boba is awesome tho! One of the best in town and they offer almond milk alternatives!! Yay for those of us on special annoying diets!! :D so.. Yeah definately get that.

Take what you will from this review. Its solid OK food with a few really off days and really really yummy boba.

This was my first visit. We waited over 20 minutes for two drinks and while I normally don't mind waiting patiently for food/drinks the girl working completely stopped in the middle of the rush to walk over to her friends who were customers at the poke bar, gave them a hug, greeted them for a bit, walked back over and casually began making drinks again. I can fully understand being tired and having a bad day, but to completely walk away from a rush like that? In front of your own customers? And to leave your coworker hanging like that?

Completely unprofessional. Straight up, she doesn't care about her job. I wish I was being over dramatic, but there were literally over 5 drinks on the counter when she stepped away from the line. Who does that?

My favorite boba place. Food is pretty yummy too. If I didn't love this place so much I'd give them 3 stars as they've been slipping in the neat and tidy category.
Black milk tea with boba. Yumm.

This place is a hidden gem. Their poke bowls are solid and I don't know of another place that offers poke bowls in Santa Rosa. They have several options for sauces, toppings and fresh fish selections, such as pineapple, wakame, edamame, and pickled radishes to create your own delicacy. This place also has bubble/boba tea, which is far more superior than any of the other bubble tea places I have tried in the area. I will keep coming back to this little poke haven!
